Richard M. Cavallero (Ric), Vice President, Head of Underwriting

Ric is a Senior Underwriter in business development in California and has been active in the commercial real estate financing business since 1981. His lending background includes commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) lending, commercial banking (both construction and SBA lending), and franchise lending. He has also worked as a contractor for both the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) and has been involved in transactions in excess of $100 million. Throughout his career, he has managed the real estate lending operations for a Fortune 500 company, was a partner in boutique mortgage companies, a member of the credit committee for a finance company, and a partner in a conduit lender for the asset-backed securities market. Having worked for and with real estate principals, lenders, accounting firms, and brokers have given Ric a unique perspective and ability to accomplish his clients' needs. GE Capital, Heller Financial Services, McDonnell Douglas Finance, Bridger Commercial Funding, Franchise Mortgage Acceptance Corp., San Diego National, and Lloyds Bank were previous stops in his career.

Michael W. Kidwell, President, CEO 

Mike is the founder and President of ACL since 1997. He has vast experience in both commercial mortgage business and all types of lending and has been involved in numerous entrepreneurial businesses throughout his career. He is the driving force behind ACL's marketing efforts, as well as our backroom operation. Mike started his career in commercial real estate lending by working for banks and bankers as a branch manager and national production manager where he originated all types of commercial real estate loans nationally from direct borrowers and brokers. He also held a license as a real estate independent broker in Colorado where he represented commercial real estate clients and bought and sold commercial real estate for his own portfolio.  Prior to beginning his career in the mortgage banking industry he owned an industrial distribution company and was also the president of a manufacturing company that sold its products nationally and in Mexico where he established a foreign corporation. He eventually sold the manufacturing company to a European holding company.  Mike has also been involved in the purchase of start-up company stock offerings with several companies.  He graduated from California State University at Long Beach on the GI Bill with two Bachelor's Degrees and is a USMC veteran and life member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity.  



Harold Mason

Harold is a Senior Underwriter and in business development in Missouri. He has been active in the commercial real estate financing business since 1976. As a direct lender, correspondent lender, and entrepreneurial loan broker, Harold has successfully structured over $850,000,000 of real estate and asset-based commercial loans, with single transactions exceeding $100,000,000, as well as structured finance and lease transactions, including sale and leasebacks of equipment and real estate. He has participated in underwriting and lending for CMBS transactions, commercial banking, and franchise lending, including the financing of over 50 Sonic Drive-Ins throughout the US. In addition, he is well-versed in underwriting business and industry loans and SBA and government-sponsored entities, including Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae), Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac), and Housing of Urban Development (HUD) financings. Harold is also ACL's expert in Church and Synagogue financing.




David Ige (Dave)

Dave is in business development in Hawaii and Utah and has been in the mortgage and lending industry since 1993. He previously worked for two mortgage companies from 1993 to 1997 before starting hard money and residential mortgage brokerage firm. He was an account executive for Security National's wholesale lending branch, which gave him valuable insight into underwriting and regulations of the lending industry from the lender's perspective. Dave is a graduate of Brigham Young University and travels frequently between Hawaii and Utah for both business and family. He strives to obtain the best financing options for his client's real estate holdings. He enjoys resolving challenging situations for his clients and strives for a "stress-free" experience where he is always working hard to manage the stresses of the loan process so his clients don't have to.



Sheldon Pinsker 

Sheldon is currently in business development in the Philadelphia metro and east coast area. Previously, his career included employment at Wells Fargo, Fulton Bank, and other banking entities that allowed him to develop his expertise in lending. He also developed many business relationships internationally through his other business pursuits. Sheldon has been active in commercial real estate lending and financial services for over 30 years. During his extensive career, he worked with and for real estate principles, lenders, and brokers, as well as coordinated with the processing, underwriting, and closing of loans for clients throughout the US. Sheldon's experience and training enable him to fulfill his clients' financial needs in a timely and professional manner.
